The September 2009 earthquake and tsunami that affected Samoa and other nearby regions thankfully did not harm anyone on the set of "Survivor," which shot back-to-back seasons there and is currently airing "Survivor: Samoa" on CBS.
Although the "Survivor" crew was fortunate, we recall other Hollywood productions that were in some way affected when real-life tragedies intruded -- whether it interrupted production, delayed a release date or required additional editing out of respect for those involved and the audience's sensibilities.
